On October 26, 2023 at 11:15r AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laura Villanueva made an unannounced inspection to conclude the investigation for the above allegations. LPA met with director, Teresa Hahn and explained the purpose of the visit. LPA conducted a tour of the facility inside and outside with director. LPA observed a total of 6 children under the care and supervision of 2 staff.

LPA conducted interviews with staff and parents and reviewed emails. The child care center was licensed on 6/14/2023 due to a change in ownership. The director that was in charge of the center left abruptly on 06/14/2023. The new director, Teresa Hahn was hired on 07/28/2023. The staff in the allegations is no longer working at the facility. The child in the allegations is no longer attending the child center as of 7/28/2023. The parents interviewed are happy to have child are for their children. The school board worked to keep the school open when Holy Cross Preschool closed. Although the allegations may have happened or invalid, there is not a preponderance of evidence to prove the alleged violations did or did not occur, therefore the allegations are UNSUBSTANTIATED.
