On January 29, 2025 at 10:00 AM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Laura Carone conducted an announced Pre-licensing inspection. LPA informed the Licensee of the purpose of the inspection and toured the facility inside and outside. Licensee is changing the location of her child care. The license number for the previous location is 566216125. Licensee was not caring for children at the time of the inspection. Licensee stated childcare will be provided Monday thru Saturday from 5:00AM to 7:30PM.

This is a 2 story, 2-bedroom, 11/2-bath condo. The Licensee will use the living room, dining area, kitchen, 1/2 bathroom, and backyard for the childcare. The stairs had a gate at the entrance making them inaccessible to children. Inaccessible areas will be the garage, 2- bedrooms, 1-bathroom as listed in facility sketch as designated areas off limit for childcare. LPA did not observe any toxins/hazardous items accessible to children in the facility today. The backyard is fully enclosed with a fenced wall. Cleaning agents and disinfectants are stored locked under the kitchen sink. Kitchen knives are stored out of reach of children. The bathroom to be used for children in care was observed to be clean and free of toxins/hazardous items accessible to children.

A regulation 2A10BC fire extinguisher was observed mounted in the kitchen with a service date of 01/28/2025. Licensee is reminded to service or purchase the fire extinguisher yearly. The smoke and carbon monoxide detectors were tested and found to be operational. All adults in the home are fingerprint cleared. LPA observed the home to be orderly. No bodies of water were observed on site. Licensee stated that there are no guns or ammunition in the home.

Licensee's Pediatric First Aid/CPR certificate is valid until 01/21/2027. Licensee's Mandated Reporter Training is valid until 06/05/2026. Licensee provided a signed LIC9149 Property Owner Consent Form and an LIC9151 Property Owner Landlord Notification Form.
