LPA observed that the living room, (1) bedroom/daycare room, dining room, backyard, and one (1) bathroom, to have plenty of spacing and ventilation for the comfort of children in care. The bathroom was clean and orderly. LPA notes there are no toxins and dangerous items in the bathroom accessible to children in care.
· The home has a carbon monoxide and a smoke detector combination unit which was tested at 03:32 PM and functioning.
· LPA notes, the applicant does have appropriate sleeping equipment for the children in the home.
· LPA reminded the Applicant of the importance of monitoring infants and keeping up with the infant safe sleep plan and log.
· Knives are stored elevated in the kitchen made inaccessible.
· Dish soap and cleaning supplies are stored under kitchen sink made inaccessible to children.
· Family medication is stored in an elevated shelf in the kitchen preventing access to children in care.
· LPA observed a required fire extinguisher (2A10BC) within the laundry room with a purchase date 05/24/25. LPA reminded Applicant of the responsibility to service or purchase a regulation fire extinguisher annually.
· LPA observed items, equipment, toys age-appropriate, and furnishings for the children in care. LPA advised the Applicant to check daily for insects and animals which may pose a threat to children in care prior to children having access to play structures and toys.
· Applicant reported drinking water will be accessible by means of individual water cups to use throughout the day. Applicant stated they will use water bottles for the children in care.
· Applicant reported there are guns and ammo in the home and are kept separately. Guns are store in (1) bedroom in the off-limits area which has been made inaccessible through the use of a storage safe firearms while ammunition is stored in locked
