LPA and Licensees discussed active supervision when children are in the outdoor yard. LPA observed a water fountain the backyard; the fountain did not contain water. LPA asked Licensee if they planned to utilize the fountain. Licensee stated since they have not turned on the fountain since they moved into the home, so they are unaware if the fountain works. Licensee stated for the moment, they will not be using the fountain and leaving it drained. LPA reminded Licensee that if they decide to utilize it in the future, they must first ensure that it is properly secured and children will not have access to the body of water.
