25 | Application Specialist (AS) Alecia Sifuentes and Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Chayntel Hunter met with Program Director Gail Nadal, Administrative Secretary Maria Cardenas, Site Supervisor Silvia Meza-Lara for the purpose of an announced pre-licensing change of location inspection. Applicant requests a preschool license to serve 48 preschool children from age two to five years. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The fire clearance was received and granted on 8/25/2021.
Applicant acknowledges that the following documents must be posted at all times: License, Emergency Disaster Plan, Personal Rights, Parents' Rights Poster, car seat poster, menus, and daily schedule. The facility will provide morning snack, lunch, and afternoon snack.
INDOOR ACTIVITY SPACE:
There are two preschool classrooms in E3 and E4. AS observed a sufficient amount of equipment, toys, tables, chairs, cubbies, and napping cots. There is a first aid kit wall box located in each classroom. Medications will be stored in medication cabinet located in each classroom. AS observed cleaning disinfectants are appropriately stored and inaccessible to children. Applicant stated there are no poisons or firearms on the premises. AS observed a water dispenser located in each classroom. AS observed a functional dual carbon monoxide and smoke detector in each classroom. AS observed sign-in/sign-out binders.
