25 | A prelicensing inspection was conducted today at 2:30pm by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Snow. LPA met with applicant/licensee/facility representative Iesha Pinkney. he applicant/licensee is requesting a license for a capacity of 8. The facility will operate Monday-Friday, 5am to 6pm. The residence is a two story home.
The home and yard were toured, and the facility sketch was verified. The following areas will be off limits to children: the laundry room is off limits and all but one bedroom & bathroom are accessible in the second floor. Poisons are locked in the garage The home is equipped with a working smoke detector and fire extinguisher rated at least 2A10BC. The fireplace will not be used during child care hours. The children will use the backyard as the outdoor play area. The backyard is not completely fence, the fence is down in a large section and there are boards with nails sticking out in the play area; the applicant understands that constant supervision must be provided while children are outside. There is no pool, spa, pond, fountain, or any other body of water on the premises.
