1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	An announced Prelicensing inspection was conducted today, 01/30/2023, by Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Melanie Otsuji with Director/Applicant, Denise Platts. An application was submitted for a Temporary Relocation of a Preschool Aged program. The facility has temporarily moved from 17011 Bollinger Canyon Road, San Ramon to 1998 Rancho Park Loop, San Ramon. Facility is utilizing the Russell Room within the Amador Rancho Community Center. Facility will return (anticipated to be May 2023) to previous location upon construction completion. Upon completion of the construction, the applicant will contact Licensing prior to re-opening the center. The program will operate Monday through Friday from 9am to 1pm. A health and safety inspection was conducted inside and outside. Measurements were taken and is as follows: INDOORS: 1557.91 square feet = 31 children OUTDOORS: NO OUTDOOR SPACE The staff will utilize a stall within the building's women's bathroom which will also be used as isolation area for sick children. Children will also utilize the building's women's bathroom. Facility staff will place a sign outside of the door to indicate that the bathroom is temporarily closed due to children's use. There are no bodies of water nor any firearms or weapons on the premises. Storage for cleaning supplies are made inaccessible to children. Furniture and equipment are free of any hazards. The classroom is equipped with age appropriate materials and equipment. There is a carbon monoxide detector, smoke detector, and fire extinguishers are available throughout the center. Heating, lighting, and air conditioner are adequate. Facility will also use the Bella Vista Room for gross motor activities. First Aid Kit is available. Each child has individual storage for their belongings. Center has water bottles to refill children's water bottles. Children bring their snacks and lunch from home. Facility has back up snacks should a child forget theirs at home. Licensing Board is available with required postings. Facility received an approved fire clearance from San Ramon Valley Fire Department on 01/09/2023. ----------------------------------------------- CONTINUED ON PAGE 2 --------------------------------------------------------------

This facility plans to provide Incidental Medical Services – IMS. For IMS information, see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. LPA reviewed with Applicants the LIC 311A, Records To Be Maintained At The Facility, for child’s records, personnel records, administrative records, and documents to be posted. A license for 13 preschool aged children operating out of the Russell Room, and the Bella Vista Gross Motor Skills Room in the Amador Rancho Community Center will be issued effective today's date, 1/30/2023.
