13 | Licensing Program Analyst Erwina Pascual-Golamco (LPA) met with Licensee, Resa Aldrich, to deliver findings. Throughout the course of the investigation, LPA toured the facility, observed staff provide care to children, reviewed documentation, and conducted interviews. Interviews revealed that staff hold and sing to daycare children to calm them down, give them attention, check on them to see their needs, get down to their level, and demonstrate and model desired behavior as needed. Staff are also receiving additional training and coaching to enable them to meet the needs of all children in care. LPA Interviews, observation, and facility documentation failed to corroborate the allegation that staff is mishandling the daycare children while in care and staff yells at the daycare children while in care. Although the alleged violation may have happened or are valid, the preponderance of evidence standard has not been met to fully prove or disprove that it did or did not occur, therefore, it is UNSUBSTANTIATED.
This report was reviewed with Director, and an exit interview was conducted. Appeal Rights were provided and a Notice of Site Visit (NOS) was provided to Director, who will post it for a period of 30 days for parental review. |
