On 5/13/2022 Licensing Program (LPA) Dalicia Adkins conducted an unannounced case management- Covid 19 follow up visit. LPA met with Health and Safety Director, Christy Baumgartner, LPA informed director about the purpose of the visit, LPA was granted entry in the facility and guided on a tour of the facility. LPA observed 8 infants and 4 teachers. Child Care operation hours are from 7:30am -6:00pm.

On 5/10/2022 LPA completed a Covid 19 initial assessment. The purpose of today’s visit is to follow up on Covid 19 initial assessment. LPA Adkins provided Covid 19 guidance and technical assistance.

LPA observed Covid signage posted near the front door entry. Check in station located in the front lobby; LPA observed mask, hand sanitizer and dirty pen container and clean pen container. Daily symptom screening conducted during drop off. Parents are also conducting wellness checks prior to dropping of their child. Facility utilizes a communication platform to record daily checks. LPA observed PPE and sand sanitizer through the facility. LPA observed staff wearing mask. LPA observed staff/visitors bathrooms to be clean and stocked with paper towels, hand soap and non-touch trashcans.

LPA Discussed with Health and Safety Director, COVID 19 isolation planning, quarantine procedures and implementing social distancing social within a child care center. Placement of furniture to foster social distancing, implementing clean air as when the weather permits, checking air filter systems regularly, sanitizing of toys and cots

Monitor sharing of toys and sanitize between uses. Children belonging must be individually stored. LPA observed individual storage for children belonging; bins are labeled with child's name. Mats placed at least 3-6 feet apart and labeled with child's name and picture above napping area. LPA observed 9 cribs total, only 7 cribs are being used at this time. Bedding materials are stored separately in child's bag. Bedding laundered once a week. LPA observed children's furniture spaced fostering social distancing.

LPA observed changing area to be clean and organized. LPA observed sanitizing materials, hand sanitize, protective paper and gloves at station. Parents are responsible for brining diapers, teacher store diapers in assigned bins labeled with child's name. All other child diaper changing material are labeled. Booties are worn in the infant classroom and are available at the front door entrance.

Children bottles are stored in refrigerator. Each child has an individual storage labeled with their name, bottles are also labeled. LPA observed ready available drinking water.

New safe sleep regulation discussed and new lead poisoning training requirement for new licensees.

No deficiencies cited during today's visit.

Exit interview conducted. This report reviewed with Health and Safety Director and a copy of this report provided.
