25 | On 02/28/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Kruz Long conducted an unannounced Annual/Random inspection at the above facility. A COVID-19 risk assessment was conducted. Upon arrival LPA Long was greeted by licensee, Pamella Johnson. LPA observed 1 Caregiver and 1 child in care. Hours of operation are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5:00 PM.
This is a two-story house. 1st floor contains Activity room, main classroom, bathroom, living room, kitchen, formal living room, formal dining room and an attached garage. 2nd floor contains 6 bedrooms, game room and 2 bathrooms.
The day care takes place in the Activity room, main classroom, 1st floor bathroom and rear yard.
Per Licensee, there are 3 adults living in the home (Licensee, husband and adult son. All has criminal record clearance). The home is clean, orderly, comfortable, and well ventilated. Licensee's poisons, detergent, cleaning compounds, medications and other items which could pose a danger to child are stored where they are inaccessible to children. LPA observed working smoke detector and carbon monoxide detector, fully charged fire extinguisher, and working land line and cellular telephones. Fireplace is securely screened. There are several age-appropriate toys and a first aid kit on the premises. Per the licensee, there are no firearms on the premises. Licensee has current First Aid and CPR, expires 09/15/26. There are 3 large and 1 medium/small dogs on the premises. All pets are in the off limit area inaccessible to children. Outdoor play areas are fenced.
