|Parents of infants enrolled will provide all food items to include milk, baby food and formula. All items will be labeled. A refrigerator is available to store all items. There is drinking water available in all indoor classrooms, water jugs and disposable cups. |
Storage containers for solid waste, including moveable bins, are available and have tight fitting covers on and are in good repair. Facility has one or more functioning carbon monoxide detectors that meet statutory requirements.
All toilets and hand washing facilities, are in safe and sanitary operating conditions. There is 2 toilets and 2 sinks inside the infant classroom. Staff restrooms are available on each floor.
Outdoor play equipment was observed to be in good condition, free of sharp, loose or pointed parts. Director was advised that the infant play ground needs to be resurfaced prior to licensing. The current flooring is not age appropriate and is just cement. Pictures will be sent to LPA. Director was advised that shade needs to be placed in the infant playground. A water jug and disposable cups will be taken outdoors.
Parents will be signing their children in right outside the Director's office. Parents will be signing in on an IPad which requires a signature, program used Brightwheel.
Medications shall be stored in a secured, inaccessible area. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department.
