LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with facility representative and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at:https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed the facility representative of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platforms. To receive important license related information to licensed facilities, visit the CCLD Important Information website at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/community-care-licensing/subscribe and select the Child Care option to receive email communication. The facility representative was informed of the MyChildCarePlan.org site, a consumer education website that helps families obtain child care by connecting them to child care providers and Resource and Referral Agencies (R&Rs) throughout California. A notice of site visit was given to assistant director, Victoria Lopez and must remain posted on, or immediately adjacent to, the interior side of the main door for 30 days. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the facility representative Victoria Lopez. Based on today’s indoor and outdoor measurements, the sinks and toilets availability, the request of the facility for increasing their capacity to 52 children ages 0 to 2 years old will be final reviewed and discussed with management in the Regional Office and after receiving the following. The facility will be notified if any additional information is required. Please submit the following no later than 30 days of today's date. 1- Waiver request to use the infant/toddler playground on a staggered scheduling not to exceed 40 children at any given time. Please submit the following for a waiver request: Waive request letter, Infant/toddler scheduling for morning and afternoon, LIC 999, LIC 500 and a photo of the infant/playground.
