LPA discussed the safe sleep regulations with licensee and discussed the Child Care Licensing Safe Sleep webpage at https://www.cdss.ca.gov/inforesources/child-care-licensing/public-information-and-resources/safe-sleep as an additional resource. LPA also informed licensee of the importance of checking for recalled infant devices on the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) website at https://www.cpsc.gov/ and recommended they register all infant devices with the CPSC to be notified of any recalls on their purchased equipment. Director understands that an individual infant sleeping plan LIC9227 must be on file for all infants up to 12 months of age and that there must be documented 15 minute checks of all napping infants.

LPA conducted a health and safety inspection of the outdoor space. Playground equipment and surfaces were free of loose or sharp parts. Outdoor shade was provided by trees. The wooden gate of the fencing is in need of repair.

There were no staff nor children's records to review. A staff interview was conducted with Director, Patti Newton. Director stated that required lead testing of water AB2370 was conducted. Director stated that annual fees have been paid.

To improve the quality and value of the new inspection process, a survey will be sent to the email address provided. Please complete the survey and share your inspection experience.
