25 | On August 10, 2022 at approximately 12:00PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Michelle Pascual met with licensee Lyudmila Moskalenko for the purpose of a required annual inspection. The facility days and hours of operation are Monday – Friday 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. During today’s inspection, there were 11 day care child present supervised by the licensee and one assistant. Licensee’s husband was also present during today’s inspection. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance.
A health and safety evaluation was conducted in all areas accessible to children. Off-limits areas include: 5 Bedrooms and 3 bathrooms (main house). Main daycare area is a converted/permitted garage. LPA observed a fully charged fire extinguisher, and functioning smoke and carbon monoxide detectors. LPA observed first aid kit. Per licensee, there are no weapons in the home. Toxic and hazardous items were in an off-limits area, inaccessible to children. Required postings were observed near the entrance.
During file review, LPA observed all necessary Children’s documents. LPA observed a current children’s roster and fire drill log last updated May 2023. LPA observed First Aid/CPR certificate valid through July 2023. LPA observed current Mandated Reporter training valid through May 2023.
Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual – Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Family Child Care Homes Section 102417. When any IMS is provided, a Plan for Providing IMS must be submitted to the Department.
