25 | On 3/6/2025, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Amanda Sutter met with Licensee Representative Michelle Lucas for the purpose of an unannounced case management visit. Upon arrival, LPA observed 19 preschoolers supervised by 3 staff members. All individuals subject to criminal background review have obtained a criminal record clearance.
LPA measured all preschool classrooms and outdoor play areas and advised that a new application page (LIC200A), facility sketch (LIC999), and $25 fee should be submitted to Child Care licensing in order to update the facility's capacity.
A health and safety inspection were conducted in all areas accessible to children. LPA measured three preschool rooms. The total classroom space contains a total of 1274.668 square feet, which accommodates a maximum of 36 preschool children. There are 4 operational toilets and 4 sinks for the children. With current sinks and toilets available, the maximum number of preschool children that can be accommodated is 60. Individual measurements are recorded on the Capacity Worksheet (LIC 9024).
There are two outdoor area on the property for preschool children. LPA measured both preschool playgrounds. The total outdoor activity area contains a total of 3728.01 square feet. The square footage measured accommodates 49 children. Individual measurements are recorded on the Capacity Worksheet (LIC 9024).
A notice of site visit was given and must remain posted for 30 days. In the areas observed, no deficiencies were cited. Exit interview conducted and report was reviewed with the Licensee Representative Michelle Lucas.
