25 | On 3/1/23 at 8:15 AM Licensing Program Analyst (LPA) Annette Sutherland conducted an unannounced annual inspection with the Licensee. Upon arrival, LPA met with Licensee Tamara Hauser. Also, in the home was Licensee’s mother Donna Martinson, husband Luis Hauser. Licensee was provided the Inspection Checklist (LIC 126). The 2 story home was toured and inspected to ensure an environment safe for the care and supervision of children. Present in the home were 10 day care children . Licensee provided a copy of facility roster.
Licensee has provided adequate space for the children to eat, sleep and play within the home. Areas used for child care include Playroom, Bedroom #1(used for napping), bathroom #1, Dining room, and backyard. Off limits areas include entire upstairs bedroom 2-5, bathroom #2, #3, Kitchen, and are inaccessible through use of safety gates. The licensee has sufficient toys and equipment available. The home has a fenced backyard available for outdoor activities LPA conducted child care quality management interview with the Licensee.
The fire extinguisher, smoke detector, and carbon monoxide detector meet requirements and are operational. Last fire drill was conducted on 2/8/23. All hazardous items were latched/locked and secured out of reach of children. There are no bodies of water on the property . Licensee states that there are no weapons in the home. First Aid and CPR certifications expire on 9/10/22. Licensee has required immunizations. Licensee completed Mandated Reporter Training on 2/26/23 for licensee, mother, and husband and is reminded it must be completed every 2 years. Children’s and Staff records were reviewed and found to be in order. |
