NARRATIVE
1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 13 14 15 16 17 18 19 20 21 22 23 24 25	On July 13, 2023 at 12:00 PM, Licensing Program Analyst (LPA), Laura Villanueva conducted an unannounced Required-1 year inspection. LPA met with facility Director,Irina Artemyeva and informed her the purpose of the inspection. Director provided LPA a tour of the facility inside and out. Facility hours of operation are Monday thru Friday 6:30 AM to 6:30 PM There were 4 infants in care and 2 staff at the time of the inspection. LPA observed all required documents posted on the wall at the entrance of the facility. The facility has 1 infant classroom. LPA reviewed a sampling of children and staff files. Staff file reviewed was found to be complete. CPR/First Aid certificate expired 2/13/22. A technical violation was issued. Staff will complete CPR/First Aid class as soon as possible. Staff's mandated reporter training expired 6/28/2023. Staff will renew as soon as possible. A technical violation was issued. Children files reviewed were found to be current with needs and assessment service plans, 15 minute sleep checks, and all required documentation. Last fire drill was documented on 06/08/2023. Incidental Medical Services (IMS) policy was discussed. For IMS information see Evaluator Manual - Regulation Interpretations and Procedures for Child Care Centers Sections 101173 and 101226. When any IMS is provided, an updated Plan of Operation that includes IMS must be submitted to the Department. Assembly Bill (AB) 2370, Chapter 676, Statutes of 2018, requires all licensed Child Care Centers (CCCs) constructed before January 1, 2010 to test their drinking water for lead contamination between January 1, 2020 and January 1, 2023, and then every 5 years after the date of the first test.

Director was reminded a licensed child day care provider, administrator, or employee of a licensed child day care facility shall complete the mandated reporter certification AB1207 every two years at www.mandatedreporterca.com

Community Care Licensing Division (CCLD) regularly sends information to licensed facilities, providers, and stakeholders by way of Provider Information Notices (PIN), Program Quarterly Update Newsletters and other important information communication platform. Director was made aware that it is the facility's responsibility to know the current regulations for a CCC which can be accessed on-line at www.cdss.ca.gov\
